Dennis Fano opened his shop in Fleetwood, PA in 2001 with a niche modifying jazz bass guitars. As he grew into building guitars, Dennis became known as an offset emperor and the MG6 is his creation of a Fender Mustang. The Fano Alt De Facto MG-6 seamlessly marries vintage aesthetics with modern precision. Its elegant, vintage-inspired design captures the essence of classic guitars while offering a host of modern features for today's players.

This specific guitar was handmade at Fano's Arroyo Grande, CA facility by the team at Premier Builders Guild between 2010 and 2016 (likely 2012/13), prior to the company's sale and relocation to Arizona. Dennis is now at the helm of Novo Guitars based in Nashville and their import counterpart, Rivolta Guitars. In terms of boutique electric guitar builders, he's one of the best, and these early Alt De Facto's are getting closer to cult-like status. You know how this goes... ten years from now it will be could've, would've, should've.
